My question involves employment and labor law for the state of: VA
I worked for this company for one year and almost two months. I gave them my resignation letter for exactly 7 working days. It was an agreement that my last day was February 27th, 2009. I had an incident (family emergency), in which I could not attend my last day. I contacted my immediate supervisor and she seen as she understood, I offered to come in after I took care of my emergency but she just told me "good luck in your future endevours".
I did not attend my last day of work; however, I worked the whole week. I did not get pay for my week, I was supposed to get pay by this past Friday but I did not get a check nor direct deposit... What should I do?![]()
