My question involves police conduct in the State of: california
i was recently served a search warrant in my home. narcotics were confiscated along with scales and baggies. no one was arrested or even cited and police have given my boyfriend 3 days to supply them with "information that they don't already have" in relation to his "associates"? can they do that? i don't even know if the items were filed into evidence. what if my boyfriend refuses to give them any information or says he doesn't have anything relevant? what can they do to him? can i have this case (if it is a case) thrown out of a court of law? i know it's common practice for police to do this but what can i do about it?
