Default Judgment Recovery in the State Of Pennsylvania

My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:PA

There isn't actually a judgment yet, but this seemed the closest to the subject site I could find.

In 2004 we filed bankrupsy in PA. When we moved to GA in 2005, the apartment complex we lived in (in PA) said we owed about $3,500 for the remaining months on the lease. There is no way we can pay the $3,500. I am surprized they haven't gotten a judgment or tried to collect that money. We also had a $500 credit union loan that wasn't paid. What can the credit union and apartment management company do to collect that debt? Can they garnish wages or file criminal charges? With fulltime jobs we still don't always have food on the table so paying back doesn't seem an option at this time.

    39. Pennsylvania Wage Garnishment

No wage attachment in this state except for taxes and child support.

The Pennsylvania Department of Revenue is authorized to garnish wages without obtaining a court order for collection of unpaid state taxes. The Department will first notify taxpayers of its intent to contact their employers to begin withholding. If a taxpayer fails to resolve the tax liability, the taxpayer's employer will be ordered to begin garnishing wages and make payments to the Commonwealth. Employers may retain up to 2% of the amount collected to compensate for costs of additional bookkeeping.

Junker, curious to your reply. How does Pa. taxes get involved with pass due rent and a CU loan. Especially since the debtor is now located in a different state? Being in Louisiana I supose I have heard of stranger things happening but I really can not remember when.
