Default Adding Daughter on Home Title in California

My question involves real estate located in the State of: CALIFORNIA

I need your advise, what would be the best way to include My daughter as another owner of our home, she lives in the home with us. There is no mortgage on the home, me and my wife own it. I have been told a quitclaim deed form is the best way to go, what is your opinion. And do you have to record it at the County hall of records, or is it consider a legal document once we all sign it and have it notarized.

Default Re: Adding Daughter on Home Title in California

Why do you want her on the home? What do you hope to accomplish by adding her?

There may be a better alternative, such as a revocable living trust.
