Default Copies of Move In Checklist

My question involves a security deposit in the State of: Michigan

I signed a lease which has now gone month to month. I was provided with 2 copies of the inventory checklist that were blank via mail. I filled both out and signed them, but dropped off the landlord's copy at her house. I don't know if I need a copy with both hers and my signature in order to recoup my deposit and if so, how should I go about getting the signature. I have already called her once requesting a copy with her signature on it and have not heard back from her.

It does not appear that you need both signatures on your (or her) copy, only that you fill out both copies and drop one off within 7 days of moving in.

    The actual statute
does not make mention of signatures, either.
