Default Prosecution of False Police Reports

Hello, it's recently come to my attention that a police report will soon be filed against me. The charges are for something that would be considered a felony.

    I have a few questions:
    1) What should I do knowing that this is about to happen? Is there anything I should do to prepare for possibly being arrested?
    2) What is about to happen to me?
    3) Once it's found out that they filed a false police report what can I do as a course of action?

Edit: Upon further thought I think I should reexplain the situation. With a little more detail as it might change the focus and where this thread should be located.

I'm about to have a police report filed against me for statutory rape. I have not had sex with the person in question. I do believe they are doing it for malicious intent, basically so that I will stop seeing their child. I still have the same questions, but I have an additional one now which will likely make it so that this post should be in a different section; How much evidence is going to be needed to prove either way that I did or did not have sex with the person in question?

Bad news for you....at this point in time, police are reluctant to charge the person making false reports of rape and domestic violence. The thing is that they do not know what really happened, even with a total lack of evidence, and they will take alot of caution in filing perjury charges.

I have seen rape/sexual assault charges go on trial in a pure he said/she said cases, and while most of the outcomes result in acquittal, you have a real chance of conviction if the child in question testifies that you raped him/her. Please get a retainer attorney now.

What if I said that there's a history of the parent making similar accusations before which were acquitted?

This isn't the first time that they've filed a police report for statutory rape against someone just so that (in my opinion) that the accused would leave their child alone.

Edit: Also what is a retainer attorney and how would I go about finding one in my area?

I would hire an attorney and stop dating minors.
