My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Pennsylvania
My boyfriend FINALLY gets his custody conciliation after more than a year of having no/little visitation (only supervised 1 day a week at ex-Mother-in-Law's).
My question is what can we expect at the conciliation? Based on the following:
He left wife last February after catching her in an affair with the 16 year old neighbor.
He went to pick up children for a visit one time in late February and kept them overnight. She immediately filed a PFA based on false charges for her and the children.
He filed, filed and filed again for visitation and was finally given phone contact and visitation with his sister as the mediator/pick-up-drop off. He called one time (it was summer by then), she immediately filed a report that he had broken the no contact order(not true) and was harrasing her. He was jailed(they did not even need proof, just took her word for it. His ex then filed harrasment charges and a no contact order on his sister (falsely and with no proof) as she works at the school where his children attend.
After several hearings, her bieng in contempt and pushing back the custody hearing, she finally completed her generations class. In November of 08 he was granted 1 day a week supervised at the grandmothers house. the ex and grandmother have dictated when the children will be there and for how long. Now, every week they are not there at all. Local police will not enforce.
We are nervous. His relationship with children has been severely tainted and what can we expect based on her allegations? How will this affect his case? She contacted him via phone/text begging him to come back several times during this period. She met him at a mutual friends house to discuss this as well.
WIll/can the judge courts see through women like this? Will she be punished for her false claims? What are his chances of getting a normal custody schedule? He pays child and spousal support and has been since the split.
