Default Question about property tax on estate not probated

:?: My grandmother passed away 2 years ago she owns a brick home and approximately 2.5 acres she did not have a will and the estate has not been probated yet by anyone. I know that property taxes are going to be delinquent soon, should I take any steps concerning this, what will happen if no one pays these property taxes. Thanks for any help

    Default Grandmother's Estate

Eventually the taxing authority will probably sell the property to cover the back taxes. Somebody should open an estate, properly distribute the assets, correct the title, and have the estate (or whomever has been using the property for the past two years) pay the back taxes.
