    Default Harrassment

My question involves defamation in the state of Florida.
If someone is accused of making and untrue and defamatory statement and the statement is shown to be true what rights has does the accused person have? Could the accusations be considered as harrasment aimed at stifling further comment, if so what are the legal remedies?
    Thanks

They have the right to say, "I told you so."

Seriously, what economic harm did this person suffer?
