My question involves judgment recovery in the State of:Pennsylvania

I had been paying an OIC on unpaid business taxes, and at the end of the statute of limitations still owed some. I received notice that I was no longer responsible for any more payments.

My question is can I expect the Lien to be removed from my credit report? If so, how do I accomplish this?

Thanks!

The statute of limitations on the actual debt has nothing to do with your credit reports.

Credit reports keep unpaid judgments on file for 7 years, Bankruptcy on file for 10 years and unpaid tax liens on file for 15 years at TU and EX. EQ keeps unpaid tax liens on credit reports until they are paid off and will not remove them while they are open, not even after 100 years
