My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: Nevada

I apologize if this is not a right place. My brother who is a Nevada resident is going through a bankruptcy. He has one of the credit cards, Discover, that somehow has my name as a joint account. This card was opened back in 1996. I think he used my name as a joint application for higher limit and I don't remember signing this application.

So, my question is, after his bankruptcy case, am I going to be responsible with his 15k debt? I never have, use, or charge anything with this credit card. He supposed to meet with the lawyer again next week. He asked the lawyer earlier and the lawyer said that discover may or may not sue or collect the oney from me (which is typical answer for the lawyer? they just want the money from the bankruptcy case)

I want to know if I am liable with this debt. I am a resident of California. What type of questions my brother should ask the lawyer? Thank you for any help and advices.
