Default One-Year Multiple Entry with J1 Visa

Hi there, here is my case:
I have issued an one-year multiple entries visa and have already went back from my J1 program to my home country.
If I got a new DS form from a new J1 program, can I re-entry with my previous visa before the expiration date?
Thank you for giving any idea!

Default Re: One-Year Multiple Entry with J1 Visa

If you have been issued a J1, that voids your other visa and you'll need to be approved for a B class visitor's visa to enter before the start of your program.

The State Department recommends you don't do that.

Stick with your J1 rules, and don't come any sooner than 30 days prior to the start of your program.
