J1 to G4 and EAD

Hello, I need help!!!

I am in my last J1 year and will switch to G4 as spouse. I also need to apply for EAD to be able to work here. May I apply for the EAD BEFORE G4 ? Or both at the same time? Or do I need to apply first for the G4, get it, and then for the EAD?

You can apply for both at the same time.
