    Question Recording a Conversation

    My question involves injury or loss that occurred in the state of: west virginia.
    I recorded a conversation between 5 people in my home. 3 of us knew about the recording. is this illegal. can anyone sue me for this.

    It depends on intent i believe, what was your intent and surrounding factors that caused the recording to take place and how would you use the recording, sell it publish the tapes? What initially made you record your friends without telling them?
