    Thumbs up Changed

My question involves emancipation laws for the State of: Illinois
Now my situation has changed. My mother is willing to agree to the emancipation, I have a place to live (family friends) whom I will be paying rent to, and a job. But I have dropped out and am going to get my G.E.D. Since my mother is agreeing to the emancipation and I have dropped out, how will this process go now?

Same answer as before, maybe a little more difficult than before. You will still have to prove to a judge that you can fully support yourself without help and your having dropped out may be enough to completely kill your petition before you've even begun.
