    Default Shoplifting

My question involves criminal law for the state of: California

Hi, I was caught with some items on me a few days ago and the manager of the store took the items back and told me i was fired and to go home before the cops come so that I won't get in serious trouble. The next day he called me from the store asking to come in to sign some papers. I got scared and did not show up and ever since he's been calling and also the Loss Prevention people. LP keep calling and threatening to call the cops on me and when I called them back the LP guy was really nasty and wanted me to confess to other things I did not do. I know he was recording me and I requested to meet face to face, but He insisted the phone and that's where he started with his accusations and threats. What is my rights and what can I do from now on?

You can ignore the calls and see what happens. You can talk on the phone and see what happens. But you rolled the dice when you chose to steal, and nobody here can tell you if you'll come up with a lucky 7 or with snake eyes.
