Default Dual Citizenship for USA Military Children Born Abroad

I was born in the Philippines on an U.S Air Force base in 1983. My mother is Filipino and my Dad is American. My parents were married at the time that I was born, and are presently. My mother became a US citizen when she married my father. My question is- am I eligible for DC because I was born in the Philippines to an natural US citizen on a military base abroad and a mother who is a natural born Filipino citizen, who then became a US citizen by marriage? Am I amble to claim the DC due to afformentioned information? Thank you.

Check with the Philippine Consulate regarding your status as a possible dual national.

A child born to US citizens on a US military base is a US citizen. If your mother was not yet a US citizen when you were born, you MAY be a dual national.
