Ok, my question is this.
I was traveling home late at night and got pulled over right in front of my development(this is in Florida). The officer advised he clocked me at 94 in a 50. He proceeded to write me up for a unlawful speed ticket with a mandatory court hearing. The officer did not write a Statue Number on the ticket, also there are three options to check on the ticket "criminal violation", "infraction court appearance required as indicated below", "infraction does not require court". The officer checked the required court appearance one and not the Criminal one.
No where on the ticket does it mention reckless driving.
Does the ticket have to state reckless driving to be charged with it at court?
I'm talking to a lawyer on Monday about my options not looking to "get out of it" just dont want a reckless driving misdemeanor on my record.
Thanks
