    Default Harassment By Soon-to-Be Ex

My sister is going through a pretty sticky situation. Her soon-to-be-ex-husband filed first on the grounds that she committed adultery - she didn't until he filed and had it put in the cause. She moved out. Anyway, he has joint custody of the 3 boys and has bad mouthed her to them. The youngest got sick and (yes, my sister could have taken him to the ER as well, but her soon-to-be-ex husband wouldn't let her) by the time they got to the doctor it had ruptured. Well, his (soon-to-be ex-hubby) parents are laying the blame on her and then when she isn't with her son, they (her soon-tobe-ex-husband and his parents) give her all kinds of heck. He has been in the hospital since Jan. 17th and had to be sent to a childrens' hospital because of a bad infection. Her soon-to-be-ex keeps telling her that she needs to be with their son but she has to work to pay him child support, and then when she isn't there he rags on her for not caring. What can she do to get him to stop this? She is on the verge of either a massive breakdown or something worse. She doesn't have much money and has already paid a lawyer about $3,000 just to file and court costs. Please help with what her next step could be - I think she needs to file a harassment suit but I';m not too sure...And what makes matters worse - her in-laws keep taking notes and bringing up things when they go to court that are trivial. I forgot to mention that he gets disability monies and is home all day long...

    Default Medical Care

If the "harassment" you describe is what others might deem "guilt-tripping", such as "You should be here for our son when he's sick", I doubt that there is a viable cause of action.
