    Default Can Non-Citizen File for Divorce in US

    My question involves divorce in the State of: Wisconsin

    Hello

    I am a UK citizen and have lived in the US for five years. (entered legally and have over-stayed). I want to file for divorce from spouse, who lives in UK. I do not have a social security number. Am I able to file for divorce here or

    Were you married in the UK? And your spouse is still there?

    You would need to file in the UK.
