Default Back Taxes and Adverse Possession

My question involves real estate located in the State of: California.

A woman paid over 10 years of back taxes on two vacant lots adjacent to vacant property she already owns.

She then put a trailer on the property and uses it as an office in an effort to be able to claim adverse possession.

Does simply paying the back taxes allow her to do this?

Only a court order can improve her occupation into a fee title.

If she has met all of the California requirements she may have a case.
