    Default Termination

My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: MA

Currently an employee of ours has cost the company over $3,000.00 in errors, in the past 3 weeks. Are these strong enough to terminate the employ and stop them from collecting unemployment from us?

Definitely enough to term... you don't need any reason whatsoever for that action.

However, UI will be up to the UI board.

    To terminate? Certainly.

To prevent UI? Probably not, not unless you can show that he was provided with warnings showing that his job was in jeopardy unless his performance improved.
