My question involves criminal law for the state of: Absconding from porbation. In January of 2006 I was arrested for Grand theft motor vehicle, Abstructing and officer without force and Dealing in stolen property. I bonded and and in June 2006 I took a plea for probation, they dropped the dealing in stolen property charge. I was sentencted to 3 years probation with early term if I paid my restitution and court costs. I violated in October 2006 and turned my self in and was released with probation reinstated. On March 5, 2007 I was pulled over and given 3 tickets for driving on a suspended without knowledge, failure to register motor vehicle, and attaching a tag not assigned. On March 15, 2007 while reporting to my probation I recieved a ticket for possession of a suspended license, I made court dates for all these tickets. On April 12, 2007 I violated my probation again and the police picked me up from my house. That same day my father mailed out money orders for what I thought was the rest of what I owed. On April 19, 2007 I went in front of the judge and he released me from jail. After being released I missed a court date and on April 26, 2007 I recieved 2 warrants for failure to register motor vehicle and attaching a tag not assinged. Then on May 22, 2007 I was issued another warrant for violating my probation, and on May 25, 2007 I was issued another warrant for possession of a suspended drivers license. And today I was researching and saw on the Florida Department of corrections I have an Absconding charge. How much time am I looking at? And what should I do to solve my problem? I live in Florida.
