The Indiana senate had a bill in front of them that did not get a hearing this session. Senate bill 49 dealt with expungement of arrest record. Unfortunately when I found out about this bill it was the last day of the session. I e-mailed the senators , and a few of them said that they would definately reintroduce it again next year. So.... I am tring to get people who were arrested and then acquitted to contact their senator, maybe then we can get this ball rolling. Would it be wrong or in bad taste to contact lawyers in Indiana and see if they would be willing to let their clients, who were acquitted, know about this so they can contact their senator?
Thanks
