My question involves criminal law for the state of: Florida
What do you think will happen...
There was a burglary at a house around and I was pulled over in a car and charged with 2nd degree burglary....
However there was nothing stolen or damaged inside of the house which is stated in the police report
A witness across the street wrote a statement saying she saw the car I was at the house earlier and me and everyone else in the car which is 5 people go inside of the house but when the police came we were not at the scene we were at a friend of mines house and a girl and boy were caught in the back of the house and another was chased but got away...the witness also said she saw 12 people enter the house....we were driving back to pick up some people who lived around there and were stopped by police and arrested and charged...the police also wrote on the report that there were no signs of forced entry into the house just a back door opened...
Do you think one eye witness who identified us as being there enough for me to be charged and if so what do you think the consequences will be for this... please get back at me as soon as possible because I was not there or went inside of the house...I have not been told anything yet if the owner will press charges but he really has nothing to press charges against and the house was empty because he is fighting the bank who wants to foreclose the house....
