    Default Fake Page on Facebook

    My question involves labor and employment law for the state of: New Jersey


    My ex friend decided to be a real jerk and practically ruin my life!

    its so mean because its true and nobody knew

    he made a group on facebook saying im gay as the title and sent invites to all friends.. is this considered to be sexual harrasment? i need to know soon so i can get the group removed and get him in trouble please and thanks!

    It is almost certainly defamation... assuming that the accusation is false...

    I would talk to an attorney.

    Truth is a defense to a defamation claim. If it is true, then by definition it is neither slander, libel, or any other form of defamation.

    Nor does saying someone is gay, when he is gay, constitute sexual harassment.

    You can't sue someone for telling the truth.

    im not looking to sue im just looking to get him into trouble for his actions..so theres nothing i can do beside getting the group deleted?

    I'm not on Facebook so I don't know what their rules are. You are free to ask them to delete the group. But you cannot get anyone "in trouble" because they told the truth.

    For telling the truth, I am not sure you can even get the group deleted.
