My question involves criminal law for the state of: Michigan
So here's the deal. I had some kids try to rob my house, and my buddy foiled their plan by taking their gun right out of their hands (only one had a gun). So after they had no weapon, they kinda just ran off, but one kid was arrested because he went into a different house. Now this was on a college campus. So my neighbor called the police, and like 12 cop cars showed up, arrested that kid. So, this brings me to my problem. He told the police what they were tryin to rob my house of, not smart of him, not good for me. This happened at about 2 am, eastern time. The next morning, the west michigan drug enforcement team came knocking on my door, asking if they could look around. I said yes, figuring I didn't want them coming back with guns and the whole shabang, so they searched my house, found just under 2 pounds of Marijuana, and a scale, some paraphernalia, and confiscated all of it. Now they said because we (me and my friend who I was in "business" with) were somewhat of the victims here, they weren't going to take us to jail right then and there. So now i have to do some sting operations with them, which include me getting 3 other people that sell marijuana/whatever, with felonies just like mine. So I have one of these charges done, with 2 more to go. I am living at home now, not at school, I have a lawyer, and am cooperating with the police in doing these sting operations. I am wondering what might happen to me after I finish all of these sting operations. They said after I am done, they take my case to the prosecutors attorney with recommendations based on my cooperation. I am looking at a felony charge right now, obviously. I believe they said possession with intent to deliver. The verbal deal we have right now is 3 felonies for my one felony. How likely is it that if I finish these 3 charges that mine will either get erased or at least a lowered sentence? I just don't want to go to jail.
