    Default Inattention to Driving

My question involves a careless driving ticket from the State of: Washington

Is SMC 11.58.008 inattention to driving (fine $134) go on your driving record?

No. It is handled in similar fashion to a parking ticket.

Do you know what my options for inattention to driving BIMC (Bainbridge Island Municipal Court, I think) 10.18.010 are? Basically I crossed the white line because I was lost and looking at my GPS. Any help is much appreciated! Does it go on my record or should I hire a lawyer, and if so, who?
