My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Kentucky
My wife decided to divorce me earlier in the year. For several months I had a verbal agreement with my wife to have the children for a little over 1/2 of the time. Since then she lied and said we didn't have a verbal agreement in place. We then had to go back to court and a temporary agreed order was signed. The new order limits my visitation compared to the verbal agreement. However, I still get quite a bit of visitation. I get my children every other weekend plus Tuesday and Thursday of one week, and Wednesday of the next week.

My wife knows that I am bi-sexual. She knows that I have been seeing a man for several months. She knew this when she signed the agreed order as she filed an affidavit that I had a boyfriend. She has even brought the children over and went on familly trips with my significant other and me. She spend a lot of time with my significant other and even became really close with him. Now that the final hearing is approaching she wants to take away alot more of my visitation because I am gay. I even have a tape recording of her stating that when our kids are with my partner she knows they are in good hands and will be safe.

My question is.....do temporary orders carry alot of weight in a custody situation? I just don't think its right that my wife has agreed to the children being with my significant other all this time just to use it against me....Any advice??? Thanks!!!
