    Default Scared to Death for My Career Future - Shoplifting

    My question involves criminal law for the state of: Vancovuer Bc

    Hey - amde a terrbile mistake, got causght shoplifing for the amount of $67.00 at save on foods grocery store. Cops came and took me to the station, took a picture - no prints, have a promise to appear date for court. Prior to the court date have to go and get finger printed the day before the hearing.

    first time offence, and I'm 40 yrs old

    I dont want a record and will do anything not to get a reocrd that will impact my career endeavours and future

    I am seeking a 1/2 hours free leagal consultaion

    but most probably be using the duty councell help at court


    what kind of penalty can i expect and will I get the RECORD!! plse help

    very scared !!!
