Hello.
Back in October, I contracted a Company to ship my car to a different state and paid for it in advance. The bank that gave me the loan to ship the car later said that I wouldn't be able to take the car out of state. So I had to cancel the contract & did so in accordance with the terms of sale on the paperwork given to me by the Company.
According to the terms, if the cancellation was in writing 72 hours before the scheduled pickup date, then my money was to be refunded minus a $25 processing fee.
It's now February and the Company has yet to give me my money back. The amount in question is over $1000. The Company is based in California and I have everything documented. What can I do legally to get my money back?
