    Default Defence Against Lidar

My question involves a speeding ticket from the State of: Arizona

It would seem that all of my county and city use these systems.

More or less this is a case where Im going south he is comming north I see him about a block or so away and so a speed check of 3 over. He says i'm 16 over in my POS 05 Hyndai Sonata 4cyl 4dr. Anyway I know I was not going that speed for multiple reasons.

This was at night on the weekend near 2 University Student filled complexes though not near the U.

He did not have the display anymore to show me.

So not sure if they can be used in motion and how much range tehy have though I know it is long.

I will try to find the models used all I know is it was Dash mounted.

It is my understanding that Lidar cannot be used while moving. Was he moving and are you sure he was using Lidar?

Not sure based on some cases I sat in on every TPD Officer that came in was using Lidar. Also he stated that he had me a long way before and based on where I could see him at he had to have been about 1500ft away.

here is the street with approx I could see just comming up to the intersection just after allen google estimates .3miles or 1584 feetapprox:
    http://maps.google.com/maps?f=d&sour...=UTF8&t=h&z=17

If Radar then he is 100% BS if Lidar not sure then because he also stated it was Dash Mounted and the last document I read said Lidar could not be used through a closed window or a windshield????

Only possible thing I can think of he might say is he was parked and taged me and pulled out to come towards me only to then do a Uturn to get behind me. Which in it's self sounds just bad. The one thing you cant see is at allen the road starts to go down an incline till the river then up again so from prince you cannot see past allen due to the drop.

Just to add in Elevations not sure what the angle comes to from this but:

    Prince - 2374 ft
    King St - 2367 ft
    Allen - 2359 ft
    Roger - 2347 ft
Limberlost 2343ft which is +-3ft level till you get just north of the river at which point in start to go up again.

River Road north of the river 2359ft.
