My question involves criminal law for the state of: Iowa ( or general law)

I am curious about how laws and sentencing usually work in cases of harassment or stalking.

There seem to be a lot of instances out there where continuous harassment takes place, although the law is very clear that only one threatening phone call or text message can be seen as harassment.

My questions are :

If an individual commits harassment towards multiple individuals, and each decides to report to police or authorities (thus resulting in multiple counts of harassment), will the perpetrator be likely to receive sentencing for each offense committed (such as serving consecutive terms). One example might be a college student who prank calls multiple rooms or the employee who pesters all his/her coworkers.

Is it the same situation for stalking? In Iowa law, a third offense for stalking is a class C felony. If an individual has several reports of stalking against him/her, would this result in serving several consecutive sentences?

Have there been examples of individuals serving multiple prison sentences for multiple counts of harassment or stalking?
