My question involves collection proceedings in the State of: Florida

So I have some medical bills that my insurance won't cover, so they're probably going to go to collections. I doubt I'll be able to pay anything of them.

What exactly will the penalty be for me? Just bad credit or ...?
If they take you to court (sue you) for non-payment & get a judgment against you, they can seize all non-exempt assets of yours that your state allows.

It sort of sounds like these are recent bills. You can ask if you can set up a payment plan.
