Suggestion on EAD

Hi,

I had been applied my Green Card on July,2007 and I am still using my H1B even though I have got my EAD which is valid till Sep,2010. My wife was using EAD. I am the primary for this GC process. I want to ask few things. I will appreciate your help if you get back to me.

01). Currently, my wife was using EAD ..Is there any problem for my GC process while its in pending stage at Nebraska center.

02). My wife is doing to final year of residency on OBGYN and going to get over by this year, June 2009. After that, my wife hospital officials is going to offer a research position which will be sponsor by ECRIP ( Empire Clinical Research Investigator Program) and one of hospital management fellow said that in order to offer this position we need to have Green Card on handy or should be US citizen ...Could you please tell me whether its true ???? ..or EAD will be enough ????

ECRIP requirement will be as follows "


a U.S. citizen; national; or permanent resident of the United States"

1. Not that I can see based upon what you've written.

2. EAD is not a Green Card, and until she gets a Green Card she doesn't meet the job requirements you described.
