    Default Probation Violation

My question involves criminal law for the state of: minnesota

ok so i moved to a different county from anoka to washington and they cut off contact with me and it was unsupervised probation so couple of months later i got a letter to appear in court 2 weeks because i violated probation because i didint pay my fines in time and i stopped going to counciling what happens now?
Im going to school and i have not gotten in any trouble by the law at all and i just got back into counciling and im going to send that in to probation and im sending them info that im going to school and i havent had a job for awhile now.

    Default Re: Probation Violation

When you violate your probation, you can be resentenced on the original charge. If the original charge carried a possibility of jail time, and you have not already served the maximum possible jail sentence, you can be sent to jail.
