Default Are We Allowed 2 Cars

My question involves bankruptcy in the state of: MS

I filed Chapter 7 in Dec '03 due to a business failure...In Feb. 07 I lost my job to a permanent illness and am now on Social Security Disabilty...My wife works full time...we have struggled for the last year to pay bills and now want to possibly try again, Ch. 13.

We have 2 cars...One has a lien and paid current...the other is mine, and is paid off...My question is this "will we be allowed to keep the one that is paid off?"...we have to have two vehicles as I have to make monthly trips to the doctor and my wife can't take the time off w/out being docked pay...

I believe the vehicle exemption is $3,000.
