    Default Misleading Service Agreement

My question involves a consumer law issue in the State of: New York

I own a small business and when my garbage company changed ownership and name they came to see me with a service agreement. I stated I would not sign a contract and the salesman stated the service agreement was just to protect the price of service. The agreement had no terms listed and no mention of contract at all on the front. It just had our names and a price.

1 year later when the price started to go up I was informed the back had small print stating this agreement was a contract for 7 years. Still the back did not have full terms and nothing was ever explained. I fell I have been misled.

What options do I have and what constitues a legal contract?

This was a pre-printed form? You weren't given a copy of what you signed? Do you have a copy now? If so, run it past a lawyer - your rights could turn on what it says on the front of the contract.
