    Default Geographic Restriction

My question involves a child custody case from the State of: Texas

My son is 12 years old and we've had a geographic restriction in place for 10 years now. My son's mother up and joined the military. Obviously, she'll have to break the restriction and plans to file a petition to have the restriction removed.

My question is how do the courts handle situations where the father and mother don't agree, but she's made the choice to move anyway? I'm not going to sign anything that lets her move him away from me, but I'm concerned that the judge could simply lift the restriction without my consent. Is that possible/probable?

    Thanks

I think it will be granted without much debate. You will need to
move quickly before she brings the military ace into play.
