My question involves towing laws for the State of: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Hello, i'm not sure you'll answer for Canada or not but I'll try.
I live in apartment and I usually park at my private parking lot. However,
my brother came over, so, I let him to park at my space and I parked at the space where it was unoccupied for long time (it's only two spaces beside mine)..
We didn't use the car for few days and today I found the note on my car that the owner of that space called the towing company and it'll be towed.
Well, I met the owner of the space and apologized and I moved my car to my original spot because now my brother is gone.
I asked the owner of the parking space to cancel the towing process but she said that it's out of her hand now. My question is, now the car has been moved out of her private parking lot space (it's now in my private parking space) , can they still tow my car? (They have my plate number)
This thread is such a mess, but thanks for reading, and answering it.
