Default Re: How Long Does It Take for the Police to Conclude Their Investigation

I have talked to couple lawyers and was advised to contact them if i were to be contacted by the police. Who should I talk to in order to clear it?
It was a very stupid mistake and I will never do it again!
You'd have to speak to whatever agency took the report. Who that might be depends on where the victim lives, or, where the crime occurred. The victim could be the person whose card you used, or it might be the business that shipped the item and did not get paid, or it might be the credit card company.

No way for us to know for certain.
