    Default Divorce Statute of Limitations

My question involves divorce in the State of: Iowa

My husband and his ex wife have been divorced for over 17 years. They have one female child together who is now 20 years old. In their divorce decree it states he is responsible for paying for half her "state" college tuition. Their daughter recently dropped out of college and moved to another state. She will not be eligible for in state tuition until she is over 21. Is there any statute of limitations for how long my husband is required to pay her tuition? The state they divorced in is Iowa. Is he required to pay half until she graduates no matter how long it takes?

Default Re: Divorce Statute of Limitations

He is required to live up to his obligations under the divorce settlement and support order, neither of which are available for us to read. If he's not sure what they mean, he should have a lawyer review them and advise him.
