    Default Past Record Problem

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Ohio
I had 2 misdemeanor drug charges 8 years ago. One was an abuse charge the other was amended to disorderly conduct. We have filed for expungement and was denied on both charges. Is there a way to get them sealed because employment won't hire me. I am now 30, married and have not had any problems since. I am trying to get decent employment and this record keeps coming up. What can I do?

What you're describing is a desire for expungement. For reasons you have not described, a court determined you to be ineligible or unsuitable for expungement. Consult a lawyer about the possibility of getting the court to change its mind if you again petition.
