My question involves child support in the State of: CALIFORNIA
Custodial parent wants more support. I'm an officer of a C. corp. That is no longer making money that it had in the past. I'm totally over my limit with my own bills and now due to change in out everything being sourced over seas, my income has dramatically decreased. I have alway's payed on time since finding out I had a child years after conception. Now, it is down to eat or pay child support. How can I get a modification? I made more money several years ago. Her attorney is wanting to double my child support based on the ONE year I made a more than in the past or present. Not only that they want me to go back since that year and pay the difference in arrears based on that year up to date. We have a another hearing coming up, by phone. The judge did not seem to want to hear what I had to say. I've investigated and found out they are not telling the truth about past employment etc......So, I need good council. Can anyone direct me to a proven attorney?
