My question involves an eviction in the state of: WI
I had signed a commercial lease with a commencement date of Dec. 1st and the old tenants have not moved out of a portion of the building. The eviction proceeding have been started, but the court date isn't for another month. The Landlord is claiming that I must still pay rent because I can access most of the building. Doesn't he have an obligation to deliver the entire premise to me, before I have to pay rent?
