Question Retail Fraud 3rd Degree, 2nd Offense

My question involves criminal law for the state of: Okay, so I'm stupid, I got in trouble for Retail Fraud 3rd degree a year ago and just recently got in trouble again with retail fraud from jc Penny's in Michigan totalling in less than 30 $. I am 18 years old. I cannot afford a lawyer, but this is not me...i was not thinking I need the judge to know this...i am a honor roll student and a lot of community service and other things. It was a lapse of judgement. I want to have a statement to tell the Judge, but what should it say?

Also, what do you think my sentence will be?

I know, this is dumb and stupid; i deserve no empathy.

Second offense things can get pricey although jail is still unlikely I would think. Talking to the judg emay not be wise. If you cannot afford an Attorney request a public defender. You might want to enroll in an anti shoplifting program before court to help impress the judge. If you send me a PM I have contact info for the Director of one such program
