    Default I want help please?

My parents kicked me out and I moved in with my boyfriend and his parents, a couple of days ago they came with a cop to our door and told me I had to go with them. They kicked me out the 18th of July right before my 17th birthday, I am miserable here and I want to get emancipated, they are verbally abusive and made fun of me when I was crying. Can I get emancipated?

Also, while I was living with them they were emotionally and verbally abusive, they accused me of being pregnant every 4 days and things to that nature. A few of my friends and friends parents have seen my mother be physically violent towards me i.e. throwing hair brushes and other things at me and slamming my face into a keyboard for not cleaning the house. My mother thinks very irrationlly (sp) and my father is an alcholic, I was on my own for 7 months and now (just in time for taxes) they want me back.

I just keep remembering things! Hehe. I was in an auto accident a few years ago and recieved a settlement check, it was for 2,800 dollars, when my parents kicked my out I wanted to access this money considering I was paying rent and my mother told me that I spent it all, I let my dad borrow 500 dollars and he paid me back a hundred dollars a month, the rest of the money was supposed to go into an account that no one but me could touch and now that money is gone. I dont know if that will help my case any but, I thought it was valuable information.

    Default Colorado Emancipation Law

Colorado does not appear to have a statutorily defined procedure for emancipation. It recognizes emancipation in its statutes:
Quote Quoting Colorado Code 19-1-103. Definitions
    (45) "Emancipated juvenile", as used in section 19-2-511, means a juvenile over fifteen years of age and under eighteen years of age who has, with the real or apparent assent of the juvenile's parents, demonstrated independence from the juvenile's parents in matters of care, custody, and earnings. The term may include, but shall not be limited to, any such juvenile who has the sole responsibility for the juvenile's own support, who is married, or who is in the military.
and it is my understanding that a court will recognize a minor as emancipated.

So is there any legal procedure that I have to go through or can I just leave considering I have lived without them almost a year?
