Default Business to Business Failure to Pay

My question involves criminal law for the state of: GA

I am wondering where the line is drawn when one business contracts another for a product that is drop shipped to the customer, but never actually paid for, in relationship to criminal charges being filed, and what would be considered a felony?

My issue is that we agreed to send a product to a company's customer directly, but have not been paid for it for more then 6 months. We would like to be paid for it, but that does not seem to be happening. Can we have the District Attorney file charges against this company? What amount would be considered a felony?

This transaction did cross multiple statelines.

    Thanks for the help.

Default Re: Business to Business Failure to Pay

Generally speaking, when your invoice to another business isn't paid your remedy is through debt collection including civil litigation. If you're drop shipping for somebody but they have no track record with your company, consider requiring up-front payment.
