    Question Sentenced to 1 1/2 to 3yrs

My question involves criminal law for the state of: New York

I was wondering if anyone knew what the minimum amount of time that one is required to complete in prison when sentenced to a one and a half to three. I'm pretty sure its 85% of that, which would be 15 months but I was hoping for some more information. Thank you...

I believe you're right that, with the maximum possible good time credit, the defendant could (theoretically) be released after serving 85% of his sentence.
