My question involves business law in the state of: United Kingdom
I'm not 100% sure this is a legal issue in itself but has implications that could be?
A situation has arisen whereby a disgruntled 'employee' has threatened legal action against the CEO of an organisation of which he is a part based on untruthful information being aired during a radio interview.
In order to clear the air this person agreed to meet with the Chairman of the company but the Chairman was overruled and forbidden from doing so by the President.
In company law does the President actually have such power? Of course he can exert his ifluence and give advice but can he actually prevent the meeting taking place.
